Concept Design, Schematic Design, with Steve Brown Architecture

Won in an international design competition, this 389 apartment Premium Class residential development is the first project to be realised in the 8 hectare REPUBLIC master plan located in the north-west of Moscow, close to Belorusskya railway station. Our concept approach for these two residential buildings is to provide a well-mannered design, responding to the urban context on the south of the site by stepping down the massing of the building to the human scale along the main street, Presnensky Val, and creating an interesting, dynamic silhouette to the skyline. Brick, used as a primary facade material, reflects the material of the retained heritage buildings on the site. Corner windows have been designed to offer panoramic views of Moscow.
