A new urban design concept for a 32Ha masterplan in the Ayazaga district organizes key FAR and zoning drivers around a central ‘urban street’ crossed with green corridors connected to the surrounding natural landscape. The master plan concept was commissioned to illustrate how a mixed use urban district could be applied to the largely zoned planned approach in Turkey. The Ayazaga urban concept is about ‘place-making’, introducing vital components that support sustainable urban living.
