Competition entry in collaboration with Steve Brown Architecture. In response to a brief for a campus based master plan to bridge the modern and the rich Arabic culture and history of Fujairah and to incorporate sustainable technologies. A master plan based on traditional patterns of urban design with narrow alleys and intimate courtyards and an architecture incorprating a contemporary interpretation of traditional design with wind chimneys, local materials, horizontal shading to public thoroughfares and roof shades to reduce heat gain and to allow the use of roof spaces.
