Eskişehirspor is one of the main dynamics of the city with its stadium in the center of the city. Football matches and fan activities always influence and reshape the daily functioning of the city center. The “emptiness” created by such an important landmark should be replaced by another strong public landmark. When designing the remaining space, the goal is to make the void visible and instead of filling the space. In the center of the square, where the existing stadium is located, the flat topography of the region is intervened in order to increase the “void” to the 3rd dimension and a tear is opened in the middle of the square with equal excavation and filling, and the ES-ES Museum and The Cultural Center is located in this area and emphasizes this 3 dimensional space. With its façade towards Atatürk Street, it transforms the street from a limited perspective axis into a main artery with a wide perspective opening to the square and gives the city a chance to live and experience the void. In collaboration with İpek Candemir, Fikret Karabulut, Tunay Cengiz.
